Arnold Mills Parade in Cumberland

The Arnold Mills Parade is a long-standing beloved tradition in Cumberland every year. The parade will start at 11 am at the RI/MA border

Central PA Fourth Fest

Nearby in the State College area is Central PA 4thFest. This celebration has been happening since 1927 started by the Alpha Fire Company. It began as a small carnival and has grown. State College Sunrise Kiwanis Club took over the festivities in 1978 to let the firefighters concentrate on their service to the community, fighting fires. In 1991 the torch was passed to the WzWW Radio Station in partnership with United Federal Bank. In 2001 the production of the fireworks got so big (named the best show in the world at the time) that a committee just for the event was formed. The Central Pennsylvania July 4th Inc. was formed and has put on a great event that gets better every year.

The fest has been recovering from the effects and impacts of the pandemic. This year there will be a great fireworks display, a Firecracker 4k run, a car show, and much more. Check out the website for details.
